The Client

The Driving Tour is a start-up business offering self-guided car tours in Europe and the UK along fully researched and tested routes, as well as hotel and restaurant recommendations to complement the journey.

The Challenge

The client was entering an already crowded leisure and travel market with several key and dominant players, so required a website that challenged the norms and provided an alternative, fun, lively and accessible experience.

The Brief

The client wanted a modern, easy-to-use, open and friendly website that was low cost to implement and maintain, yet still conveyed quality as a premium brand business. The products also had to be easy to understand and view, with a simple user journey from initial landing page through to purchase.

 

The Solution

To minimise implementation time and cost, a proven template design was selected with all content, imagery and videos custom-developed for the site. The client also wanted to use Facebook as the primary go-to-market social platform and appropriate buyer personas were produced. Facebook posts were created and released at an average of one per day, with an initial two month start-up period, with Facebook advertising targeted at the specific buyer personas.

The Results

The website is now fully operational and the business is trading successfully through the site with further enhancements planned to increase the sales potential.
